We are Redcar based wedding photographers, but we happily work the whole TS area and are also more than willing to travel further afield for your big day. We really love what we do, and being asked to photograph someone’s wedding and create lasting memories for them is a huge honour which we do not take lightly.

Nicola and Joe were married on a beautiful crisp day at the end of the Spring at Rushpool Hall hotel in Saltburn.  They had a fantastic day and nobody stopped laughing all day!

Katie and Stephen, Sneak Peek! May 30, 2010

After a week of very indecisive weather, we were a bit concerned about what was going to happen weather-wise for Katie and Stephen’s wedding on Friday.  We spent the whole week obsessively checking weather forecasts in the hope that they would suddenly say “Bright sun, all day, don’t worry, it won’t rain, honest” and they never did.  However, on the day everything came right and the weather was prefect.  The sun kept disappearing behind clouds briefly but it was warm and dry and not too windy so I think everybody heaved a collective sigh of relief.

Katie and Stephen were married at St Nicholas’ Church in Guisborough, with their reception at Gisborough Hall, and we had some pictures at the Priory as well, and everyone looked gorgeous.  From Katie’s ‘antique’ coloured bouquets to the very glamorous Bridesmaid dresses, every little detail was fully thought out and looked stunning.  Katie and Stephen, you were wonderful to work with and we wish you all the very best for your future together!

Tracey and John, Sneak Peek! April 25, 2010

Tracey and John’s wedding is the first we have done this new season.  The first, in fact, since the end of October!  It’s been a long break!

Their wedding was absolutely beautiful and what a way to start a new year of weddings.  Summery colours, a stunning bride with a fantastic dress, so much love and happiness and good weather!  They were married at St Bernadette’s in Nunthorpe and held their reception at Rushpool Hall in Saltburn.  here are a few pictures to wet your appetite!

2009 – A Summary January 6, 2010

2009 was something of a quiet year for us, what with the economic downturn, many people found themselves in the unfortunate position of not being able to arrange their weddings for 2009, but we still photographed 13 weddings, with 14 couples!

We had several really rainy or wet weddings this year, unfortunately one of those was being filmed for National TV! We were also lucky enough to dodge the rain at most of our weddings and have some brilliant sunny and hot days. It’s always such a shame when it rains on someone’s wedding day.

The best thing about being a wedding photographer is getting to meet absolutely wonderful people, people who you probably would otherwise never have occasion to meet; and to be given the privilege of spending such a happy, personal day with someone who puts their trust in you to be there and be able to capture their memories is an amazing feeling.

So, to all of our 2009 couples, thank you so much for the experiences you gave us, the fun weddings, the outpourings of emotion and love you enabled us to witness, and this is for you!

Happy New Year! January 6, 2010

We’d like to wish you all a fantastic 2010, one which is hopefully filled with promise and goodness.  2009 was a hard year for a lot of people, and we hope that things start to resolve themselves this year.

We are particularly looking forward to this year as we have some fantastic weddings booked, in brilliant locations, and we are also expecting a baby this year.  Naturally this will have some impact on our availability but only during a couple of weeks, and we have assistants who will be able to help Mat out while Jen is unable to work.  As we say, all being well, this should be a minimal interruption to our availability.

Leah and Michael, Sneak Peek! September 21, 2009

Yesterday we photographed the gorgeous wedding of Leah and Michael.  Their whole wedding had a black and white theme, and all of their guests wore black and white to stick to the dress code.  The whole wedding was very classy and elegant and Leah and Michael both looked stunning.  See for yourselves:

Slideshow Videos September 1, 2009

As well as sneak peek images from weddings, we are going to start uploading slideshows of a selection of images from each wedding.  They won’t appear as soon after the wedding as the sneak peek as it requires us to have done all the final edits to the images before we can compile a slideshowbut it’s worth keeping an eye out to see them when they are posted.  It’s a bit of a new science to us at the moment but here are a few from recent weddings and the two Rock the Dress shoots we did earlier in the year with Vicky and Natalie.

Andrea and Steve / Chris and Clive Sneak Peek! August 26, 2009

On Sunday we photographed a beautiful, emotional and (for us) quite unusual wedding.  Andrea and Steve were married at Gisborough Hall, and then afterwards,  Andrea’s parents Christine and Clive re-took their wedding vows.   To say it was emotional is very much an understatement!  There was a huge focus on family all day, even the table cards were old photographs, which really put emphasis on Andrea and Steve’s family values.  We got some beautiful pictures on the day, so here are a few tasters, and there are a couple of Chris and Clive at the bottom too

Jenna and Lee, Sneak Peek! August 2, 2009

Yesterday we attended the wedding of Jenna and Lee, who married at the beautiful St Mary’s Church on Norton Green in Norton, and had their reception at Hotel Tall Trees in Yarm.  It was a really nice wedding, everyone was so happy and so relaxed – it was pouring down all morning and Jenna had a fairly long walk from the car to the church but didn’t get too fazed by the rain, nor the fact that her dress got oil on it later in the day.  She was calm and collected and relaxed all day, and both her and Lee looked fab and hopefully had a great day!  Here are some of our sneak peeks:
