The wedding of Mr and Mrs Shane Barnes, July 20th, 2012

Stacey and Shane were married on the day of the Olympic Games Opening Ceremony so their wedding had a bit of an Olympic theme.  We took along some homemade “Olympic Rings” for a couple of photos.  They were married at St Nicholas’ Church in Guisborough and had their reception at Whinstone View in Great Ayton.  All in all a lovely day!

Katie and Stephen, Sneak Peek!

After a week of very indecisive weather, we were a bit concerned about what was going to happen weather-wise for Katie and Stephen’s wedding on Friday.  We spent the whole week obsessively checking weather forecasts in the hope that they would suddenly say “Bright sun, all day, don’t worry, it won’t rain, honest” and they never did.  However, on the day everything came right and the weather was prefect.  The sun kept disappearing behind clouds briefly but it was warm and dry and not too windy so I think everybody heaved a collective sigh of relief.

Katie and Stephen were married at St Nicholas’ Church in Guisborough, with their reception at Gisborough Hall, and we had some pictures at the Priory as well, and everyone looked gorgeous.  From Katie’s ‘antique’ coloured bouquets to the very glamorous Bridesmaid dresses, every little detail was fully thought out and looked stunning.  Katie and Stephen, you were wonderful to work with and we wish you all the very best for your future together!

Andrea and Steve / Chris and Clive Sneak Peek!

On Sunday we photographed a beautiful, emotional and (for us) quite unusual wedding.  Andrea and Steve were married at Gisborough Hall, and then afterwards,  Andrea’s parents Christine and Clive re-took their wedding vows.   To say it was emotional is very much an understatement!  There was a huge focus on family all day, even the table cards were old photographs, which really put emphasis on Andrea and Steve’s family values.  We got some beautiful pictures on the day, so here are a few tasters, and there are a couple of Chris and Clive at the bottom too 😀

Zabby and Brian – Sneak Peek!

It’s not very often that I post a sneak peek the same day as a wedding, especially not when it’s almost midnight and I’m shattered after a hot and long day, but I just couldn’t resist with these pictures.

Today we attended the wedding of Zabby and Brian, and it was an absolutely fantastic wedding.  They are two of the nicest people we have ever met, and their wedding was so emotional.  When we had our pre wedding meeting with them earlier in the week, Zabby was convinced she’d cry during the ceremony, but these two cried almost all the way through and I was having to fight tears myself!

Anyway, after crying through the ceremony, they laughed almost all of the rest of the day and we got some great shots of them.  Here are a few sneak peeks!

You both looked absolutely gorgeous and so happy 🙂 and thank you for being so great to work with and making us feel welcome as guests later on in the evening.
